Wuthering Heights started both as a joke and as a thought experiment that begged to be realised as a concrete project. The idea was born in a small storage room at moment:teater. We wanted to examine what happens to theatre when you severely limit both space and time. The choice of Emily Brontë’s amazing and powerful drama was in line with this challenge. Perpetuating the small stage to the female drama, can also be seen as an ironic symbol of women having limited creative space in the theatre world. In retrospect, we believe we have created a small theatre event beyond the ordinary.
